Kalkuitslag of kalkuitbloei op beton producten is een regelmatig voorkomend probleem op bijvoorbeeld een betonnen schutting of bij betonnen palen. Deze uitslag komt omdat er in het beton stoffen zitten die reageren op onder andere vocht. Daardoor kan de kalk door vochttransport naar buiten het beton worden gebracht en wordt de kalkuitslag, ook wel kalkuitbloei genoemd, zichtbaar worden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vocht<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Als het vocht uit de pori\u00ebn van het beton in aanraking komt met de buitenlucht, op de grens tussen beton en de buitenlucht, kan dit een witte aanslag veroorzaken. In feite is dit calciumcarbonaat wat ook wel kalk genoemd wordt. Dit probleem komt niet alleen voor bij betonnen schutting en betonnen palen, maar kan zich bijvoorbeeld ook voordoen bij bakstenen muren en tegels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oplossing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Op zich is daar alleen met hulpmiddelen wat tegen te doen, aangezien de uitslag in feite gewoon een natuurlijke ontwikkeling is. Wat je vaak als tip hoort, is dat behandeling met zoutzuur een goede oplossing is. Op zich maakt het zoutzuur de uitslag schoon, maar een nadeel hiervan is dat dit ook het cement of het beton kan aanvreten. En kunnen de problemen alleen maar groter worden. Wij adviseren om dit dus niet te doen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Als je het niet stortend vind kun je het beste helemaal niets doen. Door de structuur van het beton zal het beton steeds gladder worden. Simpel schoonmaken, desnoods met een goed schoonmaakmiddel, zal het prima schoon krijgen. Kijk daarmee wel uit met onkalkende middelen, want deze kunnen het beton aanvreten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De schuttingbouwer heeft een speciale coating met kleurstof ontwikkeld. Deze is geschikt om de schutting te behandelen tegen kalkuitbloei. De kans bestaat altijd het de kalkuitslag na verloop van tijd terug komt. De behandeling herhalen is dan de enige oplossing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Levensduur<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Hoe gladder het beton, hoe minder uitslag zichtbaar zal zijn. Komt er van buiten af geen vocht of water op het beton zal het probleem zich helemaal niet voordoen. Schilderen, met een speciale betonverf, is dan na de coating de beste oplossing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overigens heeft de levensduur van het beton, mits je geen bijtende middelen zoals zoutzuur gebruikt, geen nadelige gevolgen door de kalkuitslag. Maar mooi is het niet. Beton bewerken, zoals tegenwoordig bij veel soorten schuttingen al wordt gedaan, die immers in verschillende kleuren te verkrijgen is, is dus de beste oplossing. Terwijl anders bij optreden van kalkuitslag het schoon maken met een niet bijtend middel het mooiste resultaat zal geven. Helaas kan geen enkel bedrijf garantie geven op deze kleurverschillen, kalkuitboei of kalkuitslag.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
